Gerald Shepard has been associated with Pfund McDonnell, PC since its inception in 2010 and has over 15 years of civil litigation experience. He was made Partner to the firm in January, 2017. His litigation practice includes the handling of matters involving commercial litigation, Title 59 claims against Governmental entities, employment discrimination, medical malpractice, civil rights, product liability, insurance coverage, personal injury, workers compensation and automobile negligence. Mr. Shepard has tried cases in the Superior Court of New Jersey and has argued matters before the Appellate Division. Additionally, Mr. Shepard has tried workers' compensation cases and has served as an arbitrator for uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.

Prior to Pfund McDonnell, PC in 2010, Mr. Shepard was associated with the law firm of Reiseman, Rosenberg & Pfund. He began his legal career with Foster and Mazzie in 2003. Mr. Shepard's extensive litigation experience and diverse practice has earned him the accolades of his peers and respect of his clients. He was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers-Rising Edition 2011. From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Shepard was selected by 201 Magazine as a Bergen County Top Attorney. In 2018, Mr. Shepard was appointed as a Barrister for the Morris Pashman Inn of Court, a program designed to assist the training of young attorneys. He has also served as a legal adviser and Judge for the Vincent J. Appruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition and has assisted the Morristown High School mock trial team.

Mr. Shepard is licensed to practice in all New Jersey Courts, and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey.

Mr. Shepard is a 1996 graduate of the University of Maryland College where he received his B.A. majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He graduated from Seton Hall Law in 2002.
