Robert C. Pringle has been associated with Pfund McDonnell, PC since March of 2023.  During his tenure at Pfund McDonnell, Mr. Pringle has defended numerous civil matters including negligence cases, claims against public entities and general liability claims. Mr. Pringle is responsible for handling all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including pre-trial discovery, negotiations, motions and trial.

Previously, Mr. Pringle spent a 25 year career in the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, where he became a supervisor of the Trial Section.  During his career in the Prosecutor’s Office, he was assigned to the Family Section, Asset Forfeiture Unit, Governmental Corruption & White Collor Crime Unit, Trial Section and Homicide Unit.  Mr. Pringle has tried approximately 200 criminal jury trials, including 21 murder trials.  During his career, Mr. Pringle became a mentor to many fellow assistant prosecutors and was a regular instructor at the Passaic County Police Academy.  He has led seminars in criminal trial advocacy and practice.

Mr. Pringle received his Bachelor of Arts in Business/Finance in 1986 from Rutger University NCAS and his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School in 1989.  He is currently a member of the Justice Morris Pashman American Inns of Court in Bergen County.
