Mary Cullen McDonnell is a co-founder of the law firm, Pfund McDonnell, PC where her litigation practice includes the handling of matters involving Employment Litigation including violations of New Jersey's  Law against Discrimination, Whistle Blowing Claims and Civil Rights violations. Additionally, she handles Title 59 Claims against governmental entities, personal injury, professional liability, employment law, automobile negligence, products liability, land use, constitutional law and premises liability. Ms. McDonnell has over 25 years experience practicing law. Her extensive experience includes all aspects of civil litigation, including motion practice, trial and appellate work. She also has served as an arbitrator on numerous matters.

Prior to starting Pfund McDonnell, PC, Ms. McDonnell was a partner at the law firm of Reiseman Rosenberg & Pfund and was employed as a Litigation Specialist and Account Manager for Lexis-Nexis. She began her legal career in private practice in 1993 after clerking for the Honorable John J. Harper, Judge of the Superior Court. Ms. McDonnell's extensive litigation experience and diverse practice affords her the necessary skills and expertise to handle complex matters.

Ms. McDonnell is licensed to practice in New Jersey State Courts, New York State Courts, and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Association. She was appointed to the Supreme Court District XB Ethics Committee in 2011 and currently serves as an investigator, presenter and Hearing Officer. Additionally, she was appointed to serve as a Barrister with the Morris Pashman Inn of Court, an organization designed to teach young lawyers the art of litigation. She has served as both Legal Advisor and Judge for the Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition.

Ms. McDonnell has lectured throughout Bergen County on Anti-Harassment and Discrimination to public employees.

Ms. McDonnell has repeatedly been awarded one of Bergen County's Top Lawyers by 201 Magazine and by Bergen Health and Life.

Ms. McDonnell earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1987 in Communications and English. She graduated from St. John's School of Law in 1992, where she served as Managing Editor of the New York International Law Review and Executive Officer of the Student Bar Association.
